Losing weight isn’t easy, but it is achievable through a balanced diet and regular exercise. Often, people will look for quick fixes and ways to speed up the fat burning process and will often give in to gimmicky diets. Whilst there is no magic solution to weight loss, there are certain foods you can add to your diet which can naturally boost your body’s ability to burn fat as well give you an extra dose of energy.

Avocados

This super healthy food is a fitness pros dream, Although they high in fat, it’s actually healthy fat which not only helps protect your heart health but also encourages more efficient fat burning as it turns off your body’s natural fat storage hormones. Avocados are so versatile and can be enjoyed as part of a number of meals – although we do highly recommend a serving of avocado with a poached egg (just think of the extra protein boost in that meal!).
